Indo-Western Wears


In the today's scenerio where design goes combine, kurta turns into a tunic, dupatta turns into a took; and salwar turns into a couple of pants. Indian outfit can be given a western touch with amazing creativity in waistlines, cuts in fabric, necklines, and other decorations by different innovative ideas. Womenswear are the zone of essential concentration or focus as they facilitate much exploration . 

Hemlines of the traditional kurti have gone up, and are worn with popular pants or fashionable jeans. A flowing crepe skirt can be paired with a halter neck top, or spaghetti strapped (tied) top, giving an attractive appearance to the wearer. A noodle strap blouse with a traditionalist Indian sari will give a ultra modern look to the wearer. Sarees are draped in Grecian type of clothing paired with empire line blouses.

Mostly Designers such as Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Manish Malhotra , Anita Dongre etc have experimented to combined  the creativity of East and West Zone. They are essentially made traditionally Indian wear with imaginative western styles. Combination of indian and western in wedding wears is generally favored by NRI bridals, and also very popular in Indian bridals also. These outfits give the bride a modern look, by retaining the Indian flavor.
